Return & Refund Policy
Strictly no refunds or exchanges on any purchases including treatment packages. Manufacturing damaged items may be returned for a direct exchange for a new product with in 7 days of purchase.
If you do not want the product you purchased, you can return it in the condition received, sealed and unused within 7 days of purchase for a store credit voucher but no cash refunds will be given.
Courier Fees for Returns are are billed to the client.
Product Exchanges are only accepted upon confirmation of exchange by the brand supplier.
Strictly no refunds or exchanges for sale items will be permitted unless there is a manufacturing fault with the delivered item.
Pre-sale validity period
All pre-purchased treatments are valid for 2 months from date of treatment purchased. All laser hair removal treatments are valid for the period in which intervals are prescribed as per below:
- Laser face or neck hair removal – 6 weeks
- Laser underarm, bikini (all variants), toes, feet, fingers, hands hair removal – 8 weeks
- Laser chest, stomach, shoulders, arms, buttocks hair removal – 10 weeks
- Laser legs ( all variants) or back hair removal 12 weeks
Prices
The standard rate of VAT is 15%. We reserve the right to amend or increase prices at our discretion or in the course of a sale. We operate other businesses independently, selling similar products by mail order and in our shops. The prices, although almost always the same, may vary from those shown.
All discount promotions exclude items on sale and delivery fees
Availability
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will notify you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time. In these circumstances, you will be advised.
Should an item be out of stock, we will provide you with a coupon code to the value of the out of stock item purchased at the time, for your perusal.
Descriptions
While we have made every effort to show and describe our products as accurately as possible, in rare cases the final product may differ slightly from the images shown. We sometimes substitute products of a similar description where, for example, the original item becomes unavailable. Where this happens we will inform you at the time of ordering. We have tried to describe all products fairly and the weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Packaging may vary from that shown.
Shipping within South Africa
Free domestic door-to-door delivery is offered on order values of R800.00 or more including VAT (South Africa only).
Orders are usually shipped within 2–7 working days from receipt of payment. Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond The Sun and Beauty Room, our nominated couriers’ control, certain orders may take longer than the usual 2–7 working days for delivery. If this is the case we will do everything in our power to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
Orders below R800.00 including VAT will be charged R80.00 for delivery. (South Africa only).
We will nominate a delivery option for you, where possible we will always use a courier, however, due to some area locations not being serviced by a nominated courier it is easier to use the South African Post Office service. If you require a courier delivery please advise us when placing your order.
A confirmation email will be sent once your order has been received and processed. A second confirmation email will be sent once your items have been paid for in full and dispatched, also contained in this email will be the nominated courier’s tracking number with which you can track your parcel.
Returns
Satisfaction Guarantee
We hope that you will be delighted with all the goods you receive. However, if for any reason you are dissatisfied, simply contact us to arrange returning the items in an unused and resaleable condition within seven working days after receipt for a store credit note. Please note that in these cases we do not reimburse return postage cost. If you should choose an exchange a charge will be added for the re-delivery. This does not affect your consumer rights. In the unlikely event that any of your goods arrive damaged or faulty we will arrange a replacement for you, and reimburse the cost of returning the item if we have requested it back.
To return items please use the Contact Us form. The Customer Support department can then investigate your request and contact you to arrange/confirm details.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. Your credit card details (name on card, number, expiry date) will be requested on the checkout page.
If your credit card authorisation fails this simply means that you have insufficient funds available or the card has expired.
Alternatively, you can pay by selecting the EFT payment method.
